West Beach Inn, A Coast Hotel Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara

I had such a great time at this hotel! The location is fantastic, right on the beach, and close to Stearn's Wharf, State Street, and the Harbor. The rooms were really nice and clean, and the staff, especially Skyler and Joseph, were so friendly and helpful. However, the dining options were a bit limited. The pool area was well-maintained, and the price was included in the rate, which was a great bonus.

My stay at this hotel was lovely! The room was spacious and had a super comfy bed, along with bath robes which was a nice touch. The service was top-notch with a pampering breakfast selection, although at times staff seemed preoccupied with their tasks. The location was superb, offering a relaxing view of the garden, pool, and a partial beach view just across the street. The dining experience was satisfactory, offering just what I needed. Overall, a wonderful stay that I would recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were nice and compared to other hotels in Santa Barbara, they were clean and comfortable. I especially loved the wide patio area in front, equipped with a small table and two very comfortable lounge chairs with a view of the garden, pool, and partial view of the beach and pier. However, there was some mold growing in the grouting in various areas. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff going above and beyond to assist, notably Joseph at the front desk who was super helpful. The location was excellent for a late afternoon sunset walk, but the neighboring construction noise in the morning was a bit bothersome. The dining experience was better than expected, offering a good selection including a continental breakfast. Overall, a great value for money with some minor maintenance issues and noise concerns.

Arriving at the hotel near Cabrillo Blvd with a view of the garden and the harbor was a nice touch. However, the room needed a window screen and a screen door that locks. The service was a mix of being fantastic and helpful, but with a touch of disrespect towards a guest. The evening wine & cheese make the location perfect for a visit, although some clean-up items are necessary. The dining experience was minimal but satisfactory as long as you expect continental options. Good amenities overall, a great place for walking to dining spots and lower State St
